Consultations for Seasonal Sickness

Did you know on top of our face to face consultations we can also offer both telephone and video consultations?

Since covid, no one likes to spread cold and flu germs around. This leads to not getting the medical care you need. If you are struggling to come into the clinic then this is a great alternative to getting the help you need.

Our video and telephone consultations are the same price as coming into the clinic and offer the same invaluable service and care.

Our GPs can send you prescriptions direct to your email using Signature RX which can be used in pharmacies all across the country and they also offer a home delivery service for your medication.

If you have the flu, a bad cold with congestion or any other illness that makes leaving home difficult then don’t worry.

Just call or go online to arrange a face to face, telephone or video consultation.

OUR FULL HEALTH CHECKS

Health checks are a prefect way to assess your current health and highlight the warning signs of any developing health condition.

Knowing your risk can help you take action to improve your health for the future.
We want you to be as healthy as possible and detect any potential future health risks quickly! Giving you total peace of mind.

Why getting a chicken pox vaccinated is important

Chickenpox is usually mild. However, it can be serious during pregnancy, in infants under 12 months old, adolescents, adults, and people with weakened immune systems.

Chickenpox is a mild disease for many children, but not for all. There's no way to know who will have a serious case. With vaccination, your children get immunity from chickenpox without the risk of serious complications caused by the disease itself.

We are now taking appointments for Cryotherapy treatment consultations

Warts and verrucas are ugly, embarrassing and often painful.   Whilst they may go away on their own, they can last for 5-10 years. They can spread to other areas of the body or other family members as they are caused by a virus.
Cryotherapy can also be used to treat other skin lesions such as Cherry Angiomas, Sunspots and Actinic Keratoses (hard dry skin patches on exposed areas of the skin). Actinic keratoses are usually found on the face/ scalp/ arms and are due to sun damage. If untreated they can lead to skin cancer.

At Stonegate we provide an expert cryotherapy service for warts, verrucas and actinic keratoses and other benign skin lesions.
Dr Skeet has 20 years’ experience in treating these skin conditions with cryotherapy and has excellent eradication rates.

The procedure of Cryotherapy is not only safe but also effective.

Providing a natural immunity from future warts and verrucae. The medical grade nitrogen is four times colder and more effective than pens and freeze swabs.

If you would like to book your Cryotherapy consultation with Dr Skeet you can call us or book online.

We also offer Minor Surgery

Our Minor Surgery Consultations

There is a lot of variation over the country about what can and cannot be removed on the NHS. Due to its limited resources, the NHS usually cannot perform minor surgery that is deemed ‘cosmetic’ i.e. lumps and bumps that do not cause a medical problem but may be unsightly. However, as a private practice we are able to help you and any concerns you may have.

During your minor surgery consultation our two minor surgery specialists, Dr Craig Skeet or Dr Romesh Sarvanandan will assess your mole, lipoma, lesion or skin tag before they discuss if it is removable and the cost if it is.
